What Every Noise at Once is

Every Noise at Once was a map of thousands of music genres, made by Glenn McDonald at Spotify. It stopped being kept up after he was laid off in December 2023.

How Sonik differs

Sonik doesn't map genres. You start from a song you love and hear the songs closest to it in sound, whatever genre they turn out to be. Every result opens its own list, so you can keep wandering from one to the next.

Where Every Noise at Once is better

Nothing here replaces the map itself, which showed the whole shape of music at a glance.

Hear songs like this, one after another

Swipe through songs and Sonik learns what type of music you like, then finds you more of it.
